This cushion has buffered my back in my kitchen bar stool and has significantly improved my time at my computer at the island. I tried it in my car because my back hurts after at least a 30 minute drive, but my car seat doesn't have the ability to be lowered in terms of height. If you have back problems, I highly recommend this cushion to supplement wherever you sit to help keep pressure off your spine.

I had a difficult time choosing a comfort seat for my car which I thought would be comfortable but not too soft. Living in a rural area, we do not have the shopping that the cities offer so I have to do a lot of shopping on line. Occasionally, on long trips, I would end up with a tired back and legs from sitting on a pillow. This is perfect. It is firm but not hard. It offers good support. I could never go back to a couch pillow again. The only 'con' I would have about it is that I cannot attach it to the seat and it slides when getting in and out of my vehicle. Then you have to arch up to get it settled under you. This works for me but I know that some people would have a difficult time trying to get in on top of it. I may have to rig up some way to keep it in place. Otherwise, I like it. I need to mention that It has a nice cover also. I hope this cushion will maintain its firmness and will last me a long time. I don't mind driving now.

My grandfather saw instant relief and he was able to sit with no pain. The bedsore has actually began to heal with all of the pressure off of his spine. I waited a little longer to write this review to see how the pillow would hold up and it is great. My grandfather sits on it all day and has not once said anything about it compressing and not returning to form or anything. It may be a little pricey but if you have an older loved one in your life this pillow is worth it to see the relief on their face.
